The Little Soul and the Sun

an Inspiring New Animated Film Based on Neale Donald Walsch's Best Selling Children's Book

Adapted from Walsh’s best-selling children’s book The Little Soul and the Sun: A Children's Parable Adapted from Conversations With God, the film brings to life the story of Max who envisions himself as a “Little Soul”-- armed with a loving heart and a mindful of curiosity, he sets out to learn the true lessons of life and how to overcome difficult obstacles. Through this story shared by his mother, the little boy gets to have his own conversation with “God”, from whom he learns about the nature of souls, love and what forgiveness is really all about. The next day at school, Max is put in a tough situation with Karl “the bully” who offers Max an opportunity to put into practice what he has learned.

According to Walsh, “The story of The Little Soul and the Sun originally appeared in Conversations with God as an adult parable.  It was re-written in younger language and turned into a book for children as a result of many requests from parents, who thought it would make a perfect children's story. It was transformed into an animated feature for children, with a somewhat expanded story, as a result of the generous offer of Patrick Cheh and his production company, which saw value in making this wonderful message available to children in video form.  I am wonderfully happy with how the film turned out and delighted to share this message with children and parents alike.”

The Little Soul and the Sun was the official selection of several film festivals including Tel Aviv Film Festival, Sun Valley Spiritual Film Festival and was chosen for the Kid’s First Film Festival sponsored by the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media. The DVD features a 3 minute introduction by Neale Donald Walsch , a half-hour animation movie for children followed by half hour of reflection by Walsch for parents to share with their children. It promotes dialogue and offers powerful lessons for the young and young at heart. Walsh is the Executive Producer of the film and also appears as the voice of “God”.

According to Producer Patrick Cheh, “The film shares an important message for all children of all ages to hear, regardless of their faith. It distills the essential message of the Conversations with God series into a story that children can identify with.” Little Soul and the Sun is available for $20.00 at www.amazon.com or by visiting www.littlesoulandthesun.com
