The focus of this edition of Kinetics Magazine is very dear to my heart. When I think of Spiritualistic Capitalism, my mind wanders back to that fateful afternoon in 1975 when I was struck and killed by lightning. On that day, I discovered the true meaning of the word, spiritual. Of course, I also immediately recall the Beings of Light who commanded that I leave the divine realms and return to this dimension. The Beings gave me a series of visions. I refer to them as the Boxes of Knowledge. Through the visions I was shown the probable possibilities of the future, to use as a reference and guide, in order to reach the goals they were sending back to achieve. The Beings identified my two earthly objectives as spiritualistic capitalism and the building of the stress-management Centers.
Although it took me the better part of two years to recover from the major effects of the lightning, as soon as I could concentrate enough to read and study, I began to research the meaning of spiritualism and capitalism. In spite of the fact they appeared to be polar opposites, I gradually began to see the way in which the Beings intended for them to work in energetic unison. I soon realized how far business in the world had drifted away from a practice of ethical consciousness. We'd come to a point where competition in business was considered a form of warfare. This mindset became so prevalent, that books such as, The Art of War served as the manifesto of many successful tycoons and corporations.
The Beings knew this conscious mindset, employed for eight to ten hours a day, would create short-term success, but long-term disaster through the loss of integrity and use of deception. And lo and behold, this is where we are today! We have arrived at the verge of a worldwide economic collapse. The real truth behind this collapse is that our present-day business practices are being conducted in direct opposition to Universal Law. In fact, when you get down to it, it is all about the value you place upon material success. Material consciousness - why you do what you do - is based on financial gain, and is destined to fail as such. We rationalize our material gain based upon our need to support our families. Yet, this is driven by a consumerism that is consuming us instead. Yet, in reality, only by working for the betterment of all humanity, will we ever truly succeed in the long-term. We desperately need to re-evaluate our value structures. It is time to look at business in terms of ethical conscious again, and think in terms of covenants as opposed to contracts. A covenant, as a Biblical term, is a solemn agreement binding all parties and made in fairness. Whereas a modern business contract is often a legal means of taking advantage of others, wherever you can.
I believe that when we wake up in the morning and look at ourselves in the mirror, we must add a dual value to our business affairs. There has to be a spiritual component, a higher value to our practice of making a livelihood. What I did, after recovering from the lightning, was put my physical and spiritual energies to work in hospice. I co-founded a non-profit organization, The Twilight Brigade, to train volunteers to be at the bedside of the dying. As well, I write books and lecture around the world to help people to understand and embrace the reality of the afterlife. These are my personal contributions to the spiritual upliftment of humanity. Each of us has our own unique contribution to make.
In this month of February, when we celebrate Valentine's Day, it is so important to look at ourselves and find a cause you believe in. Seek to discover a cause that inspires you to contribute to it emotionally, mentally and physically. As you become involved, trust me, you will also inspire others to do the same. Please believe me when I say to you that our old way of living and doing business has come to an end. The new way must truly begin. And it starts with each one of us becoming more conscious of the part we play in the unfolding of the Divine Plan on Earth.
Happy Valentine's Day, Dannion
