“The Medical Intuitive’s Predictions for 2011”

By Dave Markowitz

How many of you like to be right about things? I know, I know, we all know it’s better to be loving than to be right. But I don’t mean “right” as in what I or you do is right, and what another does is wrong. That’s so spirituality 101. I mean right about what’s gonna happen next year. The next few paragraphs will be the absolute most “right” predictions for 2011 you will read – anywhere.

Too bold a statement?

Of course it is. And so is any prediction of what’s going to happen. Let me explain…

We all know someone that’s been told by a medical doctor that they have six months to live. Is it always true? Of course not. We’ve also been to psychic after psychic who may have told us we were going to meet the love of our life, make loads of money and have miraculous healings in the next six month period as well. And do all of those come true, either? You get the idea.

It’s beyond arrogant to think that I or anyone will know what the future holds. Sure, we can guess, or make a logical assumption based on a current course of events, but even that’s a fantasy. Because if you make a left instead of the right turn you usually make when exiting my office, then, by the same theory that says that each wing movement of a butterfly affects atoms thousands of miles away, you may have thrown my prediction into the metaphysical garbage tank. So I don’t make any predictions.

So when someone asks me if they are going to heal from an ailment, I can’t know the answer completely. I can ascertain the underlying cause in a few moments and work with that causative energy. Source through me as a practitioner can relieve symptoms temporarily of just about any condition. While that’s pretty good in itself, the real magic is working together and making the healing permanent. And for that to happen, more times than not, but not always, the client has to take responsibility for his or her own past and future.

We’re co-creating the healing and life circumstances. I’ll give my clients homework to do between sessions and if they do it, healing will be quicker and more complete. Likewise, the reverse is also true: if I give them homework and they don’t do anything between sessions, then healing will take longer.

Prophecies of 2012 and alike can be warnings or wake-up calls. We get to choose. I can’t see any reason why this wouldn’t be true. If we are the microcosm of the macrocosm, the same rules would have to apply: take responsibility, even if that includes surrender. Dichotomous? Not really.

If someone asks me, “Am I going to attract a partner?” I ask them a question right back: “Who are you being? If you want a spiritual and compassionate partner but you’re filled with dogma and judgments, who do you think you’re going to attract?”

I heard Wayne Dyer talk about God’s will for us. He went on and on about it until someone yelled out rather arrogantly, “What about free will Dr. Dyer?” And he responded immediately, and calmly, “We have all the free will we could ever want. We have the free will choose to follow God’s guidance or follow our own ideas.” And there’s the ticket to all of the above-mentioned choosing and how that includes surrender!

No one knows exactly what will happen and when. It is my understanding that the Source created us and gave us free will to determine our own futures -- to take action steps toward making our future better for ourselves and those around us.

On a practical side, would it, Source, have any fun if it knew each step we were about to take? And from what I can see, Source is all about fun. So what I’m positing is that we co-create our future with Source in an ocean on co-fun.

When we meditate we get answers. When we truly listen and remain acutely aware of everything around us and within, we get answers. When we live a quality life of openness and high vibration, releasing judgments and blame, we get quality guidance and can heal even the most difficult of conditions, co-create abundance, and attract the perfect romantic complement to us.

When we set intention and surrender as to the how the intention will get fulfilled, Source graces us with the highest, best choice. So we do have to choose, and we do have to surrender, which does not include being right.

The line is subtle; the sand in which it’s drawn is forever changing. The waves as the artist erasing that line are never the same. The ocean is always different from moment to moment. It doesn’t know when the next wave will break. We’re no different.

Are you gonna ride the waves white-knuckling an imaginary surfboard, or are you going to trust in your divine connection and co-create 2011 as the best year ever? That’s my prediction for 2011 at least: I’m gonna ride the wave!
