Magnesium, Health and Conscious Awareness

by Eva Herr

Magnesium is one of the single most utilized minerals in the body and the conscious spiritual person should evaluate their need for magnesium. Why you might ask would being conscious and spiritual make any difference in one’s need for magnesium. Well for one, the conscious spiritual person has a resonance that exceeds most others. How does that make a difference? Resonance requires the spinning of atoms. The spinning of atoms burns up chi. Therefore, the faster the atoms vibrate (the higher one’s resonant frequency), the faster magnesium within the body is burned. Magnesium, I believe, is the life force of chi. Magnesium is a highly flammable material and chi is highly flammable, meaning that to move energy, something must burn. I suppose it is important to definite “chi” here… Chi being that force of energy that promotes life. Chi is the life force that breathes within us and the mechanistic force of chi is magnesium.

Stress is an additional reason to supplement magnesium. Every time you think a thought, neurons fire and create tiny sparks of light. The spark feeds on magnesium, for it is highly flammable. Have you ever lit a sparkler and wondered what made it glow and glitter? Magnesium. Magnesium is highly flammable and that’s exactly what happens to the magnesium in your body when neurons are constantly firing. So, between the stress of daily life and the higher resonance of conscious awareness, magnesium is quickly depleted. Therefore, it is important to make sure you have enough magnesium in your body. In my opinion, the form of magnesium is also important to consider… not just any magnesium, but transdermal magnesium chloride. The form of magnesium makes a distinct difference in outcome results. Oral magnesium forms can tear up your stomach, cause diarrhea and cramping, not to mention having to choose between the various forms of oral magnesium. For the body to absorb magnesium oxide, it is like your skin trying to absorb a grain of sand.

Transdermal magnesium also builds DHEA and builds it in a form incomparable to oral DHEA supplements. It helps your body to manufacture it naturally and in the form needed for healthy use. In fact, oral DHEA can actually be detrimental to your health, if you have any sort of hormone dominance or hormone related cancer. Transdermal magnesium is highly absorbable and can be highly effective in treating certain types of heart palpitations, muscle cramps, restless leg, anxiety, depression and poor sleep. In addition, transdermal magnesium helps your body’s ability to naturally absorb calcium… you may or may not need additional calcium with this type of magnesium. You must have your doctor check your intracellular levels of magnesium.

Many people are magnesium deficient and many suffer magnesium wasting. How do you know if you need magnesium? Do you now or have you led a stressful lifestyle? Do you suffer fatigue, palpitations, leg cramps or have “funny breathing” episodes where you feel like you can’t get a good breath? These are all indications of stress related magnesium deficiency. Magnesium relaxes smooth muscle which can be an underlying issue in all of these symptoms.

If one is in a state of magnesium deficiency for too long a period of time, the body can fall to a state of magnesium wasting. Magnesium wasting is the inability of the body to hold and store magnesium… perhaps because of low levels of taurine. Both magnesium deficiency and magnesium wasting is much more common than one would think. A regular blood test will not check for intracellular levels of magnesium so be sure and ask your doctor for a special test to check intracellular levels. Spectracell is a good source for evaluating intracellular levels of minerals and amino acids.

For information on magnesium you can listen to an interviews I did with Norm Shealy on February 1 (my producer charges a small fee to access archived interviews, live shows on Sunday nights are free) on Infinite Consciousness/BBS Radio at:

Eva has written in great detail about the events of her life that created her shift in consciousness and opening of her intuitive ability in her book, “Agape, The Intent of The Soul”, published in 2005. Eva became a popular talk show hostess on BBS Radio, which gave her the opportunity to engage the minds of today’s top thinkers in the fields of science and consciousness and our human experience. A list of her past interviews reads like a ‘who’s who’ list of luminaries. Eva conducts both her interviews and herself with a raw honesty, devoid of the pitfalls of egotism, that is seldom seen today. In addition to her internet BBS Radio program, “The Infinite Consciousness,” Eva is a Certified Alternative Holistic Counselor; as such, she works with clients using her encyclopedic knowledge of alternative health remedies, as well as helping them understand how our minds work–enabling them to heal themselves of illnesses they were unable to resolve through traditional medicine. Combining her knowledge of alternative medicine with her intuitive abilities, she has an impressive track record of success.

Join me and various luminaries such as Dannion Brinkley, William Tiller, Amit Goswami, Burton Goldberg, Ervin Laszlo, amont others, on my weekly radio show, Infinite Consciousness, www.bbsradio.com on topics of consciousness, the cutting edge science supporting consciousness, alternative energy and alternative medicine.
