A New Perspective on Ancient Flying Machines and Modern Day UFO’s |
When we explore the subject of UFO’s, we look for evidence of the unknown, information that can guide us, teach us, even help us understand the phenomenon of what seems to be extraterrestrial craft that often grace our skies. Unfortunately one of the most important historical views about this subject contains clues to our finally grasping the possibilities and potential of UFO’s is generally overlooked. These views come from ancient India where ancient texts have volumes to say on the subject of flying, anti-gravity propulsion and even inter-galactic travel. The authenticity of these texts is unquestionable. Many of them are the well known ancient Indian Epics, and there are literally hundreds of them. Unfortunately, most of them have not ever been translated from their original language of ancient Sanskrit to English. The texts tell us that Indian Emperor Ashoka began a "Secret Society of the Nine Unknown Men". It was their job to catalogue everything that was known of the various sciences... Ashoka maintained secrecy around their work because he was afraid that the advanced sciences they catalogued from ancient Indian sources and texts could possibly be used for evil purposes such as war, which Ashoka was strongly against since he had converted to Buddhism. Ashoka also knew that devastating wars using such advanced vehicles and other "futuristic weapons" had destroyed the ancient Indian "Rama Empire" several thousand years before so his decision to keep this technology a secret was quite understandable. The secret society of nine unknowns wrote nine books in all. Book number one was "The Secrets of Gravitation". It was known to historians, but not actually seen by them, since the information was passed down orally. It speaks mostly about "gravity control" and is apparently still kept in a secret location perhaps in India, Tibet or elsewhere. Recently, Sanskrit documents were discovered by the Chinese in Lhasa, Tibet. After their discovery, the documents were sent to the University of Chandrigarh to be translated. Dr. Ruth Reyna of the University stated that the interpreted documents contain directions for building interstellar spaceships. The method of propulsion for these ships was "anti-gravitational”, she said, and was based upon a system comparable to "laghima”, or “the unknown power of the ego existing in man's physiological makeup, "a centrifugal force strong enough to counteract all gravitational pull." Hindu Yogis say that it is "laghima" which enables a person to levitate. According to the document which is thousands of years old, the machines were called "Astras" and could apparently hold large groups of men. The manuscripts also purportedly disclosed the secret of "antima"; "the cap of invisibility" and "garima"; "how to become as heavy as a mountain of lead." To this writer, these are the basic concepts of departiculation, or coming apart within the construct of creation, kind of like “beam me up Scotty” but for wider purposes. To utilize the cap of invisibility is simply to utilize the particles of any construct in order to reflect all of the reality surrounding the particles. This gives the appearance of invisibility. Conversely, using “garmia” gathers particles to heavy density in order to overcome gravitational effects by outweighing them such as for controlling a ship in weightless space without the need for jet type propulsion. Gathering the particles to a state of density in any direction would easily control the ships. At first when presented with the interpretations of the writings Indian scientists did not take the texts very seriously. That later changed when the Chinese announced that they were including aspects of the data found in the ancient scripts to be studied in their space program. This was one of the first cases in point of a government admitting to researching anti-gravity. The manuscripts interpreted so far did not absolutely state that interplanetary travel was actually made. They did, however, mention an intended trip to the Moon. Whether the journey to the moon was actually made, we may never know but one of the great Indian epics, the Ramayana, does contain a greatly detailed story of a trip to the moon in a Vimana (or "Astra"). Further, it describes a battle on the moon with an "Asvin" which is what the ancient Indians called Atlantean airships... The "Rama Empire" of Northern India and Pakistan came together at least fifteen thousand years ago and was a nation of many cities that were quite cosmopolitan for the times. Many of these cities lie in ruins even now in the deserts of Pakistan as well as northern and western India. Apparently Rama existed parallel to the Atlantean civilization and was ruled by "enlightened Priest-Kings". The Priest Kings governed the cities. Rama had what was known as the seven greatest capital cities, also referred to as "The Seven Rishi Cities." In that time, according to an ancient Indian epic and other writings, the people had flying machines which were called "Vimana". The Vimana were described as a double-deck, circular aircraft with portholes and a dome, much as we would imagine a flying saucer would appear in our current times. The Vimana flew with the "speed of the wind" and emitted a "melodious sound." There were at least four different types of Vimana described. Some of them were saucer shaped while others were described as long cylinders, or what we know as cigar shaped aircraft. These ships were manufactured by the ancient Indians who actually wrote entire flight manuals about how to control the various types of Vimana. Numerous of these books are still in existence, and some have been translated into English. The Samara Sutradhara is a scientific discourse dealing with every possible aspect of air travel in a Vimana. There are 230 stanzas describing the the construction, take-off, cruising during extended flights, usual and emergency landings, and even the potential of collisions with birds. In 1875, the Vaimanika Sastra, was discovered in a temple in India. The Vaimanika Sastra is a fourth century B.C. text written by Bharadvajy the Wise. In it, he referenced even older texts as his sources. The Vaimanika Sastra describes the operation of Vimana even to include information about steering, precautions for long flights, protection of the airships from storms and lightening and how to switch the drive to "solar energy" from a free energy source. The Vaimanika Sastra has eight chapters that are illustrated with diagrams. It describes three types of aircraft, including equipment that was inflammable and unbreakable. It also describes thirty one essential parts of the crafts and the sixteen materials from which they are constructed. These particular materials were used because of their properties to absorb light and heat. Vimana were powered by anti-gravity technology. They lifted off vertically, and were capable of hovering nearly stationary in the sky, like modern helicopters. Vimana were kept in Vimana Griha, a hanger for the aircraft. They were occasionally said to be propelled by a yellowish-white liquid, and at other times by a mercury compound, though the understanding of the writers doesn’t appear to be very clear on this part of the subject. Most likely they understandably confused since they likely wrote as later observers and by using earlier texts references and hadn’t literally experienced these phenomenon first hand. According to the Dronaparva, part of the Mahabarata, and the Ramayana, one type of Vimana was shaped like a sphere that moved at great speed on a mighty wind generated by mercury. It moved like a UFO, going up, down, backwards and forwards at odd angulations based upon the whims of the pilot. Another Source, the Samar, says that Vimana were "iron machines, well-knit and smooth, with a charge of mercury that shot out of the back in the form of a roaring flame." Yet another work called the Samaranganasutradhara describes how the vehicles were constructed. Apparently the ancient Indians flew around in these vehicles all over Asia, to Atlantis and even to South America. Still undeciphered writing has been found at Mohenjodaro in Pakistan (thought to be one of the "Seven Rishi Cities of the Rama Empire") and also at Easter Island. The Easter Island writing is also undeciphered and is called Rongo-Rongos. It is unbelievably similar to the Mohenjodaro script. Perhaps Easter Island was an air base for the Rama Empire's Vimana. Writings in far away Tibet speak of the "fiery chariot" that "Bhima flew along in his car, resplendent as the sun and loud as thunder... The flying chariot shone like a flame in the night sky of summer ... it swept by like a comet... It was as if two suns were shining. Then the chariot rose up and all the heaven brightened." In the Mahavira of Bhavabhuti, a Jain text of the eighth century which was based upon even more ancient tests states that "An aerial chariot, the Pushpaka, conveys many people to the capital of Ayodhya. The sky is full of stupendous flying-machines, dark as night, but picked out by lights with a yellowish glare-" Carvings near the ceiling of the temple at ancient Dendera in Egypt depict flying machines that are nearly identical to the ones we use today. Could these be depictions of ancient Vimana? In the carvings we see what appear to be a space shuttle, helicopters, missiles and other familiar craft. We also see some that we can’t recognize. There has been a lot of speculation as to how the ancients knew about these flying machines. Perhaps the carvings weren’t prophecy as some say, but in fact created as a record of fact by those who actually observed or experienced them. The similarities of the Vimana and modern day descriptions of UFO’s is uncanny. Saucer shaped craft. Cigar shaped flying machines, lights in the skies, flitting around at odd angles at incredible speeds. If the ancient Indians actually did have these craft, which apparently they did, and they were able to travel propelled by anti-gravity technology, who is to say that they didn’t go a step further and by experimenting with flight angulations they didn’t learn how to traverse throughout the space time continuum? What if their anti-gravity technology actually took them out of the fabric of third dimensional reality and through doorways of time and other dimensional reality? Having experienced sightings myself of crafts moving in and out of the sky at odd angles, only to disappear and reappear again, it is easy to take a leap into wondering if maybe, just maybe, the Vimana of ancient times aren’t popping in and out of the 21st century intentionally or otherwise. Travel in time and space is entirely possible once the effects of gravity are disturbed or altered. Dimensional angulations are always divisible by fifteen degrees. Numerous descriptions of the movement of UFO’s describe the crafts moving at sharp angles then disappearing. Perhaps the ancient Indians discovered the secrets of gravity and applied them to their flying machines. It is said that past present and future coexist. If so, many of the unexplained craft we see today may well be nothing more than the past meeting the present for a fleeting moment of infinite time. Of course this doesn’t mean that every UFO that graces our presence is a Vimana, but it does lead to a plethora of new considerations for exactly what we do see in our skies…and…where they are coming from!
