Trish Donroe Barker is a self-taught artist living in Maui, Hawaii, who specializes in painting Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Her process involves setting clear intention, studying Buddhist paintings and texts and chanting the name of the Buddha or associated mantra while painting. The result is a transference of the energy of the particular Buddha being painted onto the canvas; a healing experience both for the painter, and all those who gaze on the paintings themselves.

Trish has informally studied and applied Buddhist philosophy both in her personal and business life for the past 12 years. Trish also formally studies holistic medicine with the School of Homeopathy in Devon England for the past 7 years, as well as received a foundation degree in Feng Shui from the Yap Cheng Hai Center of Excellence. Her art and all business endeavors are an expression of her ultimate goal to help heal the planet and all its inhabitants.
