Dear Readers:
I have a secret…I adore Valentine’s Day. In fact, I simply adore the very idea of Valentine’s Day. For me it represents chocolate candy, poetic promises and romantic rendezvous. I think of February as the Red Month, appropriately filled with red hearts, red wine and red lipstick kisses. Needless to say, that is the untamable romantic swelling up from deep within my soul. For many others I know, Valentine’s Day is just another commercial holiday with no redeeming social value. And until I’d properly trained my husband, that is exactly what he thought to be true. Well, that’s just the way it goes. For those of us who understand, no words are necessary; for those who do not, no words are possible (unless we threaten them)!
In this month’s edition of Kinetics Magazine, we are proud to fill our publication with many different views on the nature and reality of love. From the foundation of self-love to the euphoric precipice of sacred love, and through all the ground in between, we each possess a unique interpretation of what love is. We can only decipher the ways and means of love by using our personal experiences as a filter. And, no matter what our love history contains, one thing is certain; everybody wants love, everybody needs love and everybody dreams that love will find them, in one form or another.
Personally, I believe WE ARE LOVE. Being made in the image of our Creator, love is then quite naturally the essence of our being; the very spirit and fiber of our existence. It is the core and purpose of our lives. Moreover, love is also the only thing we can take with us when we leave this plane of reality. Everything else stays behind. It is the love we gave and received, during our lifetime, that travels within the heart of our energetic sphere, back with us, to our original home in the celestial dimensions. We came from the Heavens and we shall return to the Heavens. And only love is real… in both realms.
Therefore, no matter where you might place yourself on the ever-expanding gamut of love-realization, we invite you to explore Kinetics this month to expand your spiritual perspective on the fractal nature of this ever-popular subject. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to share your heart thoughts with us!
It’s February, and love is in the air. Feel free to claim your (abundant) share of it!
Peace and blessings,
Kathryn Brinkley
